Gold Animal Magnets

I've always been a huge animal lover, and wanted to incorporate animals into our wedding without it looking too immature. I thought these gold animals were so perfectly playful, I decided to make them for all of my wedding guests!

Lets get started 

Step 1 : 

I bought a large bag of plastic animals on Amazon. They come colored already, and in a huge variety.  Try to purchase the harder plastic ones like these ones, with a mix variety of sea & land creatures. 

Step 2 : 

Spray paint the animals first. Make sure to shake the paint well and spray from about 5" away. It's always better to do 2 light coats to give it a more even coat or it could become sticky. 

Step 3: 

Cut the animals with a box cutter in half. 

Step 4: 

Glue the magnets on to the animals with super glue or hot glue gun. Remember, if the magnets you use are strong, make sure to give the glue a couple hours to dry before putting them together, or the magnets will over power the glue.
